Director & Founder
Simon has over 20 year’s experience of working in Higher Education marketing.
Starting his experience straight after graduation as a School and College Liaison Officer with the University of Greenwich, Simon then worked for the University of Northampton, the University of Westminster and Middlesex University in various marketing roles. At Middlesex University, Simon started his international remit whilst responsible for student recruitment from several african countries.
After completing an MA in International Marketing Management from Middlesex University in 2003, Simon then moved into the private education sector to become the Marketing Manager at NAVITAS (University of Hertfordshire) whilst taking on responsibility for Africa, Europe, India and Pakistan. During his time at NAVITAS, he then moved up to assume the position of Acting Director of Marketing.
Simon’s next role was to work at Kaplan International Colleges as part of the central marketing team responsible for promotion of the UK pathway programmes. During his time at KIC, Simon managed a successful Regional Office in Pakistan.
In 2009, Simon moved to Colombia to set up MAS Education, an educational agency focusing on the promotion of UK Universities. MAS Education grew and at the time of selling the business it had over 35 agreements with UK Universities, 6 staff and supported over 100 Latin American students a year to go and study at UK Universities.
Whilst at MAS Education, Simon also Co-founded St Peter’s International College a delivery centre for NCUK in Colombia.
From 2015 until 2019 Simon headed up INTO’s operations in Latin America with overall responsibility for student recruitment from Latin America, management of the Regional Office staff, management of the agent network, marketing and communications and budget management.
Simon lives in Bogota with his wife and two young daughters and is passionate about supporting education organisations to become successful in Latin America.
Director & Co-Founder
Jamie has over 10 year’s experience of working in management and marketing, with his most recent role as Director of a successful higher education agency in Bogota, Colombia.
After studying Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Nottingham, Jamie began his career working in international business before deciding to move to Latin America a number of years ago.
With a passion for International Education and a desire to work supporting international students, Jamie took on the role as Director of MAS Education, an educational agency focusing on the promotion of UK Universities. MAS Education grew and at the time of leaving the business had over 40 agreements with UK Universities, 6 staff and supported over 100 Latin American students a year.
From his experience working in the region, Jamie has successfully created a network of contacts spanning across the entire Latin American continent.
Jamie lives with his wife Paula and their dog Hercules in Bogota.
Vanesa is a dedicated and passionate marketing professional who graduated in International Trade and has a Master´s degree in Marketing and Sales management from EUDE Business School in Spain.
In 2014 Vanesa had the opportunity to live and study in New York for a year, and when she came back to Colombia, she started working as a student counselor at a well know agency, supporting students who went to study in; Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States of America, amongst others.
Vanesa´s most recent role was as a Country Manager working across Colombia, Chile and Mexico for the ECA group, located in Australia, where she developed and expanded the agent network, supporting over 30 agencies in LATAM, promoting programs, products and services, and attending various academics fairs and industry events.
