Simon Terrington

Simon has over 22 year’s experience of working in Higher Education marketing.
Starting his experience straight after graduation as a School and College Liaison Officer with the University of Greenwich, Simon then worked for the University of Northampton, the University of Westminster and Middlesex University in various marketing roles. At Middlesex University, Simon started his international remit whilst responsible for student recruitment from several african countries.
After completing an MA in International Marketing Management from Middlesex University in 2003, Simon then moved into the private education sector to become the Marketing Manager at NAVITAS (University of Hertfordshire) whilst taking on responsibility for Africa, Europe, India and Pakistan. During his time at NAVITAS, he then moved up to assume the position of Acting Director of Marketing.
Simon’s next role was to work at Kaplan International Colleges as part of the central marketing team responsible for promotion of the UK pathway programmes. During his time at KIC, Simon managed a successful Regional Office in Pakistan.
In 2009, Simon moved to Colombia to set up MAS Education, an educational agency focusing on the promotion of UK Universities. MAS Education grew and at the time of selling the business it had over 35 agreements with UK Universities, 6 staff and supported over 100 Latin American students a year to go and study at UK Universities.
Whilst at MAS Education, Simon also Co-founded St Peter’s International College a delivery centre for NCUK in Colombia.
From 2015 until 2019 Simon headed up INTO’s operations in Latin America with overall responsibility for student recruitment from Latin America, management of the Regional Office staff, management of the agent network, marketing and communications and budget management.
Simon has recently located back to the UK with his wife and two young daughters after 12 years of living in Colombia. Simon is passionate about supporting education organisations to become successful in Latin America.
